Description Are you interested in greenery and health? Plants, animals, and people? We are looking for a student for a socio-ecological research project, someone who is willing to conduct interviews as well as count moths. The setting involves a variety of green community initiatives in Arnhem and/or Nijmegen: community gardens, food forests, urban agriculture.

There are two research tasks:

- Interviews with gardeners about their motivation for managing the garden, e.g., mowing or not mowing, choice of species, etc.
- Setting up traps for moths and counting moth species using an app.

The analysis is both qualitative and quantitative. You can get help from the supervisors Fons and Marthe.

For the moths, the best time for fieldwork is in May/June. That is also when the garden is at its most beautiful.
