| Description | Many human and animals are suffering from gastrointestinal tract infections. To investigate this infections we focuss on cross-species intestinal immunology. In order to improve local mucosal immunity the immunomodulatory preventive or curative property of dietary components are studied. To investigate this immune-competent organ- on a chip models and other complex -cell systems are used. |
| Used skills | Organ-on-a-chip, cell isolation and stimulation, flow cytometry, trained immunity, ELISA |
