Description In response to intensive farming practices and drastic biodiversity declines, more than 24.000 citizens have collaborated in the organisation Land van Ons to make change. Since early 2020 they bought farming land and started to farm these lands in favour of biodiversity. With the upcoming 5-year lustrum, they want to evaluate the biodiversity gains in on their parcels (in total 260 hactare). In this thesis you will evaluate the collected data from volunteers, and select species groups (e.g. plants, butterflies, earthworms, pollinators) that have decent coverage of data to explore the biodiversity gains. You will furthermore help to answer which management or biodiversity intervention works best for which species groups. The results will be used for internal communication, as well as be input for a documentary and perhaps a commercial. Because this is a Dutch organisation, you will have to speak and write in Dutch.
