Description | The project aims to understand the effect of UV radiation in the regulation of the photomorphogenesis and specialized metabolism in medicinal cannabis.
On the specialized metabolism we aim to understand whether there is an inductive or repressive effect of UV radiation on the biosynthesis of cannabinoids, terpenoids, and phenolic compounds. To accomplish this we do GC-MS, Spectrophotometry, and qPCR. If you are interested in this project please contact the supervisor via email with a copy to thesis.PPH@wur.nl with: 1.
