Description Increasing soil organic carbon storage is an important strategy for meeting climate goals. However, over the past decade, soil organic carbon concentration has continued to decline across European croplands. Why?

In this thesis you will work with a large European-wide soil monitoring dataset (18,000) to model what biophysical or anthropogenic factors are driving these changes. Under what conditions is soil organic carbon increasing, under what decreasing?
