Description | Wageningen university has its own population of house cats, which are frequently used for behaviour and nutritional research. Over the years, several personality tests have been performed with these cats, from a young age onwards. We would like students to redo (some of) these experiments again, to study how consistent the findings for several personality traits are and how predictive these tests are. In addition, you can do these tests as well with the younger cats and/or make up your own (side)test. Since the amount of tests and cats can vary, this project is suitable for all projects, including short (capita selecta) ones. Behaviour tests will include tests on coping strategies, impulsive behaviour, learning behaviour and anticipatory behaviour of the cats housed in CARUS. |
