|Description||Wageningen Environmental research (one of the WUR research institutes, located in Lumen building) is looking for two students to join for an internship. You will join the forest climate pilots project to monitor climate pilots that were started during the last two years. The projects are diverse and range from revitalizing existing forests to new plantations in agroforestry and food forests.
See https://www.vbne.nl/klimaatslimbosennatuurbeheer/projecten (dutch only) for more examples.
Tasks will include fieldwork to assess success of planting activities on many sites in the Netherlands and baseline measurements. There are also possibilities to expand and work on different subjects within the group, based on your interests and our offers. Preferable to start as soon as possible, as September to November is ideal for the type of fieldwork we have in mind. At least one of the two should have a drivers license.
Direct supervisors will be Inge Verbeek and Bas Lerink (cc). Please contact them if you are interested.
