| Description | Methodology:
Literature, modelling and discussing current experiments Research objective/question: Paludiculture is the productive land use of wet and rewetted peatlands that preserves the peat soil and thereby minimizes CO2 emissions and subsidence. The question to a hydrologist is how this changes the waterbalance. Mitigating soil subsidence is another important aspect. There are many types and examples of paludiculture - do they differ in their effects on the waterbalance and on subsidence? |
