Description | Methodology:
Experimental analysis, and if you are fast: fieldwork this summer in Lelystad. Research question: Different soil management systems were compared in a longterm field experiment. In addition to crop yields, organic matter and soil physical characteristics were determined for a soil quality (biology and physics) based analysis. The results need to be checked against current model concepts and literature, notably in terms of their effect on the water balance. You will learn about soil organic matter dynamics, soil physics, and soil biology. |
