|Title||Wood chain in various regions in Europe|
|Group||Forest Ecology and Forest Management Group|
|Examiner(s)||Prof Gert-Jan Nabuurs|
|Description||Also possible as Internship/Research practice
Optimal use of wood in regional chains is of importance to increase the climate mitigation effects of the forest wood chain. Large uncertainty remains over harvesting levels, and where the wood goes.
Detailed investigation of the regional wood chain will help in this.
Field work may be part of the thesis.
Topic is part of the new EU project Resonate (lead at EFI in Bonn)
