Description | Cognition includes many different aspects, ranging from basic traits like attention and perception to more complex skills like insight and theory of mind that are traditionally associated with a few large brained species such as parrot or primates only. Performing well in one task does not necessarily imply mastering another task very well too, or does it ? Using a database of 140 fish tested in different cognitive tasks we can unravel whether performance across different cognitive skills is correlated.
