| Description | To assess a person’s level of optimism you may ask whether a glass is half full or half empty. We can ask fish a similar question, by training them to associate either the colour black or white with a food reward and then measure how quickly they are to explore the colour grey. In this project we can additionally make use of different lab conditions or environmental differences in rearing conditions to assess animal welfare. |
