Description | In this research you will compare the predictability of some key soil properties from both NIR and MIR sensors, with focus on the associated uncertainty, costs, time, repeatability. The outcome will highly depend on the instruments and calibration library used. Depending on your preference we will focus on datasets from WUR, public available or commercial datasets (AgroCares and Eurofins)
Important questions you will address include: Is MIR worth the extra cost to the detriment of a lower number of locations? What is the estimated value of information and value of information? |
