| Description | What are the historical contingencies and technological assemblages that make for a bicycle culture? How does it manifest in the landscape and make for the culture of biking? How has and potentially does bicycle culture change society? Are bicycles the future mode of times of climate change mitigation and changed consumption practices? All these questions are relevant for understanding the particularities of the bicycle landscape of the Netherlands and how that can possibly be an exportable role model for other countries and regions. |
