Description | Problem context
There is this idea that social cohesion can be fostered, and a large number of challenges addressed by community supported agriculture, urban farming, urban greening and any number of small and local initiative. To what extent do these projects live up to expectations of the different stakeholders? What a e measures of success that these projects use as yardsticks? Research Objective/Question Analyze and map local initiatives, summarize criteria of success, compare these to different cases, investigate portability of criteria and indicators to help cities to select potentially successful initiatives for implementation in other cities. Operate within the editcity network. What is expected from the student (type of research) Discuss and select the case studies in discussion with the supervisor and project team, execute interviews with the stakeholders, and evaluate the results in terms of potentially successful initiative transfer from city to city. |
