| Description | Problem context
Around the world in conventional agriculture there is a strong application of pesticides, those pesticides affect the biology and behaviour of different soil invertebrates. Unfortunately, those pesticides are normally previously tested separately and on target organisms. In this thesis we expect to assess the effect of mixtures of pesticides on several earthworms species under real scenarios. Research Objective/Question: What is the effect of pesticides mixtures on earthworms biology and behaviour ? What is expected from the student (type of research): We are looking for a student to carry out laboratory tests, being responsible for assays monitorization. |
