Do you like a challenge? Do you want to be part of an international team and do you like to build services with impact? Then wait no longer and apply at Resilience BV. We are always looking for talent in land and water management, agronomy, user centered design, programming, data science, marketing, applied research, impact evaluations, and product/business development. Within Resilience BV we have developed IRIPO(SMS) and SmartFarming(APP) services that are used by +10K farmers in Mozambique and India. With these services, we link farmers to high quality low cost; agronomical, market and input information and use data to support policy, training and implementation of programs. Research/internship objectives The specific scope of your work will be based on the requirements of the study, your experience and interests. Some possible activities are: • Explore the integration of remote sensing/satellite imagery to strengthen agronomic advice; • Research and pilot business and partnership models; • Support the development of content such as benefits of crop diversification, improved irrigation practices, content to engage youth in agriculture; • Analyze existing user data generated through use by potato, coffee and cotton farmers in India; • Support the team with programming and developing existing and new products. • Support use research design, implementation, and data analysis of SMS trials with farmers in Mozambique; • Assist the team in exploring opportunities in Rwanda, Uganda, Kenia, Tanzania, Ethiopia; • Research the impact of our interventions; • Or… come up with you own plan to improve our products, farmer wellbeing and build partnerships with key organizations; |
