Description | Project Description
Light density Polyethylene is one of the oil-based plastics widely distributed. And due to the mismanagement of the residues of this plastic. It is possible to find light density polyethylene microplastics in agricultural and non-agricultural soils. Previous studies have shown how this plastic can be decayed with the use of bacteria. The aim of this Master research is to isolate enzymes that can degrade light density polyethylene. It is recommended that the student also has background on microbiology. |
