Description In order get most out of novel technologies, framing is an important factor to consider since in these digital times – information, news and images travel extremely fast, and can also influence public opinion and decision making to a large extent. What we want to investigate within this project how a novel technology (e.g. nanotechnology, protein transition, genetically modified organisms) is perceived by various groups in society (governments, consumers, industry, NGOs, etc.) and how this influences actions (laws, rules, but also protests etc.) We are especially interested in how information travels over the internet and in social media, and will develop a dashboard to monitor this.
