| Description | The Adaptation Physiology Group offers internship and thesis opportunities related to the Adaptation of Animals to diverse environments, focusing on e.g. immune competence, energy metabolism, behaviour and fertility in several species (mostly chicken, pig and cattle, but occasionally also e.g. horses and zoo animals). In our studies, we more and more make use of animal sensors (to assess e.g. activity, lying behaviour or heat production).
