Description Both consciously and unconsciously, hydrologic modelers make many decisions before a model is run, e.g. on which data is used, the calibration period, the calibration procedure, or which model is used at all. In this project, the aim is to investigate which decisions are needed before a model can be run, and how these decisions are made by different people. Therefore, it would require a group of people (for example, fellow students) to conduct a model study, where the modeling decisions are carefully analyzed in order to quantify the uncertainty that is introduced with subjective decisions.
Used skills data analysis, modeling, organizing a group of people to conduct an experiment
Requirements some experience with modeling
