Description | Crop disease management typically includes chemical control and plant breeding. However, in many cases crop diseases are related to soil conditions that may suppress or favour crop diseases. As a result soil management is a potential strategy to support crop disease management in a quick and environmental friendly way. In a range of experiments this is currently being studied with specific emphasis on Fusarium Wilt in Banana. |
