| Description | In this project, we are cooperating with s local Sheppard (http://grebbeveld.nl), who is keeping sheep in nature conservation areas around Wageningen that require control of vegetation growth (mainly grass, tree seedlings and shrubs). The project will allow various possibilities for BSc projects and MSc internships. Questions will be related to foraging habbits and efficiency including daily variation of feeding and choice of vegetation, focusing on both group level - and individual activities. Other possibilities include mother-young bonds and how they develop and persist within a larger social group. Specific project possibilities will vary with time of year and specific context, and detailed will be discussed with interested candidates.
