| Description | Two internships assignments at the Forestry and Economics Department (FOE) of FAO in Rome. They take 4-5 months from May 2014. Preferably, the interns will have a background in natural resources and climate change studies. The interns will work on a publication “Forests and Wood Products to Fight Climate Change: Which Options Align with the Sustainable Development Goals?” More specifically:
• Assist in the preparation of a chapter in this publication (Country experiences of mitigation approaches in the forest sector and impacts on forestry value-chains): Involving mainly desk research. • Assist in organizing an online conference related to this (the intern must have some experience with Adobe Connect, a web conferencing platform) |
