| Description | Azolla filiculoides occurs in the Netherlands, but to what extend is rather unknown. Some observations are available from the Betuwe (NL). A further inventory may shed light on its present distribution. Relatively simple measurements in water where they occur may reveal relevant factors for its occurrence. |
